- Emjay Fretwerk (a.k.a. Miranda Redfield) started her first band in 2002 when in high school, under the name Shotgun Facelift. The band was punk with the influences of Misfits and other old school punk rock. She grew up, got married, settled down then boom decided to start all over. Divorced and alone she started to play music again late 2009. In 2010 she started to play music with a friend and called that project Toys for Twats but that was short lived do unforeseen circumstances. Late 2010 she found her way to a more mellow side of music and joined a folk project called Black Dimes. Black Dimes still exists but she is working on a side project, new for 2012 called Wrongful Death, in a new genera gore folk. In Second Life Emjay plays emotionally filled acoustic inspired folk music. You can hear her punk rock influences in her lyrics and some of the covers she chooses to play.
